Things prospective mentees usually want to know before signing up.
Is it really 100% free?
Yes — at every stage. Opening the Demat account, the consultations, the four weeks of mentorship, and the closing follow-up are all delivered at zero cost. There is no paid upgrade or premium tier at the end. The only thing we ask is that you take it seriously.
How is this different from free content on YouTube or Telegram?
YouTube and Telegram are one-way and generic. SMIFE is one-on-one — every session is shaped around your starting point, your goals, and the questions you actually have. You also get scheduled accountability instead of a “watch when you feel like it” model.
Do I need prior experience or a large amount of capital?
Neither. We start from first principles, and you can begin investing with as little as ₹500 a month if that fits your situation. The program is built for absolute beginners as much as for people who have dabbled in the markets for years without a clear method.
Where does the mentorship happen — in person or online?
Both work. Our office is in Sector 17 D, Chandigarh, and we are happy to meet there for any session. Video calls are equally fine — most mentees pick a hybrid: the first and final sessions in person, the weekly programme over video.
What if I miss a session?
We reschedule. Sessions are one-on-one and happen on your calendar, not a fixed batch timetable. Missing one does not push you out of the program.
Why do you offer this for free?
The stock market is for everyone, and most quality financial education in India is paywalled in a way that excludes the people who would benefit most. Our day jobs already fund our work in the markets; passing the basics forward is how we keep faith with that work.
What happens after the 4 weeks are over?
You stay in touch. We do not gate you out after the program. The boundary is on structured mentorship time, not on access — if you have a question later, write to us and we will help where we can.
